Losing Tummy fat, the Coconut Colon Cleanse Way!

Heres some help to lose weight, and help that fat tummy.

This is something I experimented with trying to lose weight, to help Knee osteoarthritis, and I relaized it was helpful to drastically reduce belly fat.

Results:: Energy levels are up, lost atleast 30-40% fat around the tummy, lesser pain in knees, joints. Scroll down to see rest.

Its safe, easy and natural! I saw Results within 2-3 days.

You've all heard of the colon cleanse, right, right?
Heres a modified version of it, non-commercial, safe to do, easy to get, if you look in the right places and cheap!

After doing all the research, I concluded that this was a mini colon cleanse, it had all the positive effects & some of the side effects of a regular cleanse if not done properly (read below)!
The only reason I'm calling it a mini is I did it for less than a weak, and didnt see some things I should. One of these days, I'm going to do it for 3-4 weeks and see.


Coconut! Specifically dried coconut.
Ingesting sufficient quantity of dried coconut followed by a laxative is equivalent to a colon cleanse, worms , et al.

Added up input from known sources and made my cocktail for personal use. And trust me, it is good enough to share!

What I did

After dinner I ate
1. 1 dry coconut (the one you get in Asian stores, the whole nut, NOT the toasted, dessicated variety, although, I cant say it wont work, ) I just think toasting it may make it lose some properties.
Cut in pieces and chew- may give a toothache if you dont make pieces, or even if you
do!

It is packed with enzymes to cleanse the colon, plus a lot of fiber to sweep up

2. 2 Tbsp Psyllium husk - This one also came from the Indian store. Also called Isapgol, Isabgol.
you could opt for metamucil, which would be processed and take a standard dose, 1 tsp, I think



3. Loads of lemon juice, fresh squeezed, for beneficial properties, sweetened with Stevia
This is to keep hydrated, and keep energy levels up, added vitamins, enzymes, etc.
I drank about 4-5 16oz bottles , so 64oz atleast in a day/night.

Thats it.
Yes, really.

I lost a few inches of girth around the tummy, and all that fat became softer and sagged down. Picked up Tummy Tucker Xtra to firm & lift it, massaged for 5-10 minutes a day withCellulite Serum on upper arms & legs which also seemed to sag down appreciably!
And the Neck Serum, because there were noticeable folds in the neck after the first 3 days of doing it.

I did have to visit the restroom more often.
After 5 days, there were some side-effects of colon cleansing which I hurriedly looked for as I experienced them!

Intestinal cramps! I reduced my lemon juice intake to roughly half, cause I ran out of lemons.
It was sooooo scary, there was this contraction like pain, but in upper tummy , lasted for 15-20 seconds & I actually saw that part of my tummy move.
After I upped the water intake, it all went away & I didnt have any after that.

I did stop when I started getting diarhea-like symptoms one day(also included in packaged colon cleanses, btw). I stopped the Coconut & fiber & there were no repeat events.

I do plan on taking it up again later, right now just working on maintaining the loss & new figure!

Results

1. A few inches lost around the tummy, handlebars. Even the first morning, there was a HUGE difference
2. A total stop to cravings for sugar & chocolate, they've increased a little, but nothing like the way I can gobble up home baked banana & chocolate chip cookies.
3. I was not able to get in L sweatpant, XL is what I wear. Last week I got & wore a M for 1 whole day, a little snug but comfy.
4. My upper arms, legs lost 20% of their fat! at least
5. Fasting Sugar levels dropped 30 points



Some unusual facts unearthed on Psyllium

The effect of soluble fiber in one tablespoon of psyllium is equal to fourteen tablespoons of oat bran.
Approximately 71 grams of fiber for 1/3 cup.

Some studies suggested that regular use of psyllium husk may help pass more fat in stools, translating to weight loss.
Some suggest psyllium husk may be helpful in lowering blood sugar counts.

An article in Pediatrics (1995) stated that consuming a high fiber diet, ( i.e., psyllium,) from a young age may even decrease the future risk of cardiovascular disease, colon cancers (especially colon types), and onset of diabetes.

It is important to take it with care, apart from complaints of bloating or gas when first using the product. Most doctors suggest taking several weeks to work up to a full dose of this dietary fiber. Early reactions might include diarrhea and flatulence.

The most important thing to remember when taking psyllium husk is to take it with lots of water. Drinking a full glass with the supplement, and six or seven more glasses a day is recommended.


I will be posting again on something called HeavyHands- an aerobic exercise with weights, will really help to strengthen & shaves inches more than any exercise I've ever tried, including regular gym activity & swimming combined.
This is part of helping knee osteo, I have to build more strength into the muscles, so that joints take less strain
